ETSI TR 103 263 V1.2.1 on CR techniques for SatCom operating in Ka band available for download

In February 2016, the ETSI TC-ERM approved the final version of the TR document "Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM); System Reference document (SRdoc); Cognitive radio techniques for Satellite Communications operating in Ka band," which includes several results from the CoRaSat studies. The document is available for download from the ETSI public web site at the following link.

On 17th June 2015, in Guildford, UK, the CoRaSat activity has been presented within the BATS Dissemination Day at University of Surrey

CogRaN-Sat Workshop at IEEE ICC 2015

On 12th June 2015, in London, UK, within the IEEE ICC 2015 conference, the CogRaN-Sat workshop has taken place. The workhop has been co-organized by the CoRaSat project as a discussion forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry and government to present their latest research findings in cognitive radio and networking technologies with a particular attention to satellite communications. The workshop has been a succes with 2 keynote speeches, 15 technical presentations and more than 30 attendees.

On 20th March 2015, in Brussels, Belgium, the CoRaSat activity has been presented within the Workshop on "Spectrum sharing by using geo-location databases" organized by the Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), European Commission

CoRaSat activity has been presented to FUB

On 7th January 2015, in Pontecchio Marconi, Villa Griffone, the activity carried out in CoRaSat has been presente to the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni (FUB), a Cultural and Research Institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development, working on the telecommunication regulatory aspects in Italy.

In July 2014, ETSI TC-ERM approved and published the TR Document entitled "Cognitive radio techniques for Satellite Communications operating in Ka band" which reflect several outcomes of the CoRaSat study. The technical report is available for download from the ETSI public web site at the following link 

Standardization and Regulatory reports now available

CoRaSat deliverables D5.2 and D5.3 are now available for download from the document area. D5.2 - Standardization Activity Report and D5.3 - Regulatory Activity Report,  detail the action taken by CoRaSat to support the construction of a Standardization and Regulatory framework for Cognitive Radio Techniques applied to Satellite Communications in the first two years.
